Biography
Dr. Ruchi Singh is Assistant Professor and In-charge Head at the Department of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension Education, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU), Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Her research and extension work sits at the intersection of livestock science, climate resilience and community empowerment — with a special focus on tribal and Scheduled Caste communities across Madhya Pradesh. She earned her Ph.D. from ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, on 'Resilience Capacity of Murrah Buffalo-based Livestock Production System of Haryana in Changing Climatic Scenario' — research certified by ICAR as a technology innovation (Climate Resilience Index). Dr. Singh has published 18+ peer-reviewed papers, authored / edited 5 books, guided 2 Ph.D. and 4 M.V.Sc. scholars, and led over 30 field-based training programmes, animal-health camps and farmer-first initiatives under SC-SP, TSP and Farmer FIRST projects.
