Climate-Smart Dairy Information Portal (DIP) launched

As part of my ongoing work on climate-resilient livestock systems, the 'Climate Smart — Dairy Information Portal' (DIP) was launched in 2023 (http://ndvsu-csdip.web.app). The portal is fully bilingual (Hindi & English) and offers: • Daily climatic parameters — temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, etc. • Climate change scenario of Madhya Pradesh • Indigenous breeds of Madhya Pradesh • Climate-resilient dairy farming practices • Hindi audio explainers of key resilient farming practices • Farmer registration and query form The portal has been designed to translate research directly to the language and format familiar to livestock farmers of central India.
